Milk thistle is an ingredient that has been used in western traditional medicine to support natural liver cleansing and detoxification processes. It is also used as a liver tonic to maintain healthy liver function, digestive function and to protect the liver. Australian by Nature Liver Tonic is a pure Milk Thistle supplement; where, each capsule contains 21,000mg of silybum marianum, standardised to include 150mg of silybin; the active ingredient of milk thistle extract.

There are two types of milk thistle; the most common one is silybum marianum. The extract is made from the seeds of this plant, which contains 4-6% silybin.  Silybin is the active component of the extract and is used in medicines and health supplements.

Each capsule contains ext. equivalent Silybum Marianum dry fruit 21g (21,000mg) – Standardised to contain 150mg of silybin, which is the active component of milk thistle.

Free from gluten, wheat, yeast, corn, dairy, egg, salt, artificial flavour and preservatives.

Usage Directions:

Adults: Take 1 capsule, 2 times daily with a large glass of water or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Store below 25°C in dry place.
